Vehicle Description
Sometimes we require the best of everything. That's why this
real-deal 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been expertly and fully
restored inside and out to give this X77-code car an exceptionally
fresh style with a full red package everywhere (even the
undercarriage.)
No other car wears racing stripes as well as a Z/28 Camaro; they
practically define the legend. But this one does it with extra
flair. It was given a full rotisserie restoration So that the
factory-correct Garnet Red draws people in from across a show field
with its gloss and shine. And as they get closer, it's the
straightness of the sheet metal that first really impresses them
all. So you know it's part of a solid investment in making sure the
fundamentals were right before the first drop of paint was applied.
On top of that, you have all the best Z/28 gear, including the cowl
induction hood, front air dam, correct badging, and D80 rear
spoiler. And of course, those iconic dual stripes were put down and
cleared over with the full paint package so there's a smooth look
to the whole car. It's a detail-oriented coupe, and you see that
everywhere from the mirror-like chrome bumpers to the correct
15-inch Rally wheels with classic-style Goodyear GT tires.
The trim tag tells us the red interior is factory-correct, and that
makes for a very distinct package. So we're glad to see the total
commitment to getting it looking just the way you want it. The
bucket seats, center console, plush carpeting, coordinating red
floor mats, dash pad, headliner, and all the fundamentals - it all
has the appearance of stock but is far fresher than anything from
1969. And you love the vintage details, like the working dome
light, smooth wood applique trim, and even the Delco AM radio is
there for a display. But the best features are the ones that remind
you a real Z/28 is a driver's car. It starts with the Chevrolet
three-spoke sports steering wheel that gives you a clear view of
the large speedo and tach. Plus, the iconic quad gauge package is
in the center console. But the piece you'll never want to let go of
is the bright Hurst shifter at the center of it all.
The engine is why the Z/28 is so special. This is not the
numbers-matching unit, but it is a correct DZ-code 302 cubic-inch
V8. In fact, as you dig into the motor, you'll see a careful eye
for the correct Z/28 markings, correct GM hoses, a classic Delco
battery topper, and finned valve covers. Plus, the gasket on the
air grabber means this properly seals to the cowl induction hood to
inhale fresh air. This feeds the large and correct Holley 4053 780
CFM four-barrel carburetor, and this sits atop the correct Z/28
winters intake. The Muncie four-speed manual transmission combined
with the 3.73 Positraction rear end to make sure this Z-car is also
a terrific performer. The final part of this speed and control
package is Chevy's power brakes with front discs.
We know you've seen the undercarriage photos that prove this was
given comprehensive work over every inch. And this even comes with
great paperwork, like the original window sticker, NCRS shipping
reports, and the owner's manual. Something this unique and
desirable will not stay available for long. Call today!!!
