1969 Camaro with a TON of SCCA racing history. This car was raced
from 1989 untill about 2002 around on various tracks in the
southeast in the SCCA ESP class and had a winning reputation. I
have a binder full of photos of it racing throughout the years.
This vehicle resided in downtown Atlanta with the previous owner
since the mid 80s until I purchased it in 2021. The car does have a
full BOLT IN cage that could be removed. it has a few aftermarket
gauges and has a Goza performance built 350 small block chevy and
has a performance built Th350 3 speed automatic that shifts firm
and fast. This car has bucket seats and console with the horseshoe
shifter. The back seat remains in the vehicle, the interior is
mostly original and untouched besides the gauges and roll cage. The
paint on this vehicle is very shiny and there is no visible rust
however the paint job is very nice it is not a show quality one.
The wheels are stock sized 15"s but have toyo racing tires on them.
I do have a spare set of 15x8 rallys that can go with the vehicle.
I am scheduled to take this car to Roebling road mid September and
will report back on how it performs. This would be a really cool
vehicle to put back on the track for some nostalgic type racing or
just remove the cage and enjoy the car as a street car again. NO
