1967 Chevrolet Nova SS LS Tribute
Car History
We have an unbelievably nice restoration of a 1967 Chevrolet SS
Nova Resto Mod Tribute here at Adventure Classics that is a fully
upgraded classic with a sleek paint finish of a show-ready muscle
machine, a potent fuel-injected Chevrolet LS engine, upgraded
suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes to back up those looks.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our Duece has a modern 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine, with LS6 heads,
cam, and intake, under the hood, but it looks perfect in this
classic. It makes gobs of power with all the go-fast parts in it
including the LS1 electronic fuel injection setup, TCI long tube
coated headers feeding the dual exhaust, red fuel rails with Nova
logos, open element air cleaner system, and all sitting in a
spotless and detailed engine compartment.
It is shifted via the 4160E automatic transmission with a trans
cooler and braided lines, and a B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter
and then to a 10-bolt read end.
You'll also spot the Wildwood Braking System with disc brakes and
the Heidts Suspension System with coil-overs, as well as the custom
built Fiske mag wheels that are 17x7 front and 17x8 at the rear
wheels and mounted on black sidewall fat performance tires.
Interior
The interior looks exceptionally fresh too with the black with
white piping vinyl interior with twin buckets up front and matching
rear seat, just like it left the factory along with the black dash,
Dakota Digital full gauge package, stereo radio system, black three
spoke steering wheel, matching door panels, and a factory center SS
console and chrome B&M automatic shifter.
Exterior
The Nova has a Marina Blue exterior paint job that looks fresh,
smooth, and vibrant, and won't disappoint the show crowd and judges
and will attract attention.
It has the bodywork to show you there was thoughtfulness and
quality in the restoration as well as nice chrome bumpers, clean
body lines, gas cap in the rear driver's fenders, great trim and
glass, and the iconic 327 crossed flags emblem to fool the other
muscle car prey.
Conclusion
The 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS LS Resto Mod Tribute that we have here
at Adventure Classics is an original looking example of those
pocket-rockets of 1967, with even more power today via the LS
engine transplant.
It is very fast due to its engine size and very light weight and
looks better than it did when it was brand new. It sounds great and
runs as great as it looks since it has had so many updates with the
restoration.
If you want a great example of a SS Chevy II Resto Mod, this one is
for you.
