Vehicle Description
Flashy muscle cars are fun and polished customs are nice, but
there's really nothing cooler than a well-done truck. No gimmicks,
no frills and no posturing: just power and presence - LOTS of
presence. This exceptionally clean C10 is a sweet street rod
stunner that mixes 6.2 liters of Chevrolet Performance LS3 with a
stout driveline, crisp aesthetics and a ground-up, nut-and-bolt
build that was completed by a professional hot rod shop. And if
you're looking for a cool classic that's both road ready and
show-ready, it's the perfect way to cruise the scene and turn some
heads!
NEW AGE TRADITIONAL
Sorted, solid and ready to roll, this traditionally handsome C10 is
the beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that obviously
involved a lot of time and a lot of money. That pro-spec reboot
sealed a rad combination of red and white DuPont ChromaBase under a
glossy clearcoat shell. And that retro two-stage lays exceptionally
well under a roster of timeless details. At the front of the truck,
a polished grille centers a broad "CHEVROLET" script between modern
headlights, amber parking lamps and a polished bumper. Above that
grille, a sculpted hood fronts polished New Port wipers, which
clear a tinted greenhouse that's reflected in stem-style mirrors.
At the sides of that glass, a retro chic profile floats traditional
door handles between ornate spears and vivid Chevrolet 10 emblems.
In the middle of that profile, stainless-trimmed Oak frames a trick
No Limit Engineering Cool-Cap fuel filler. And at the back of the
truck, leather-wrapped chains secure a "CHEVROLET" branded tailgate
between a small camera, LED taillights and a second polished
bumper.
NEW AGE PERFORMER
Enact this pickup's gorgeous Eddie Motorsports hood supports and
you'll find 6.2 liters of 21st Century small block that's top notch
in virtually every way! Purchased directly from Chevrolet
Performance, that awesome Connect & Cruise LS3 revs stout 10.7 to 1
compression into an eager 415 horsepower! At the top of the mill, a
conical filter slinks breeze into a painted tube, which fronts a
proven GM throttle body. Muted Holley fuel rails trace a
lightweight GM intake. Air meets spark in rectangular-port
L92-style heads, which ride under tasteful Eddie Motorsports coil
covers. A nodular crank, powdered connecting rods and hypereutectic
pistons compress that volatile union. A hydraulic roller cam
utilizes quality roller rockers to maximize intake efficiency.
Speaking of breathing, that smooth valvetrain funnels spent gases
through factory LS exhaust manifolds. There's a massive Griffin
radiator that's slid between a muted cap and a spry puller fan.
KWiK Performance serpentine components spin a blacked out
alternator opposite a blacked out AC compressor. And, as you likely
deduced from our high-resolution photos, the Cast Aluminum mill
rolls in a clean, body-matched frame that's finished with niceties
like Lokar sticks, billet fluid reservoirs, braided lines and a
choice Wilwood master cylinder that's paired to a matching Wilwood
proportioning valve.
NEW AGE TECHNOLOGY
Bottom-side, a smooth Connect & Cruise 4L65E 4-speed spins a tough
12-bolt axle that's finished with a tough Yukon posi. The truck's
fully boxed chassis has been thoughtfully enhanced with RideTech
shocks, Early Classic Enterprises relocators, a RideTech RidePro
compressor, RideTech CoolRide bags and Early Classic Enterprises
spindles. That slammed skeleton gets steered through traditional
power steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to big front discs
and Classic Performance Products rear discs. The aforementioned
headers push exhaust through aluminized pipes that are formed
around throaty Magnaflow mufflers. Fossils flow from an aluminum No
Limit Engineering tank. And at the corners, awesome Mobsteel
Ambassadors turn 255/45ZR18 Uniroyal Tiger Paws.
NEW AGE COMFORT
When you pop this Chevy's doors, you'll find a tastefully
customized cockpit that, while decidedly upscale, honors the
truck's legacy of being a rugged, no-nonsense workhorse. Top dead
center, a massaged dash hides fresh American Autowire wiring behind
Clarion Bluetooth audio, Dakota Digital VHX telemetry, and cool
Vintage Air conditioning. In front of that dash, slender carpet
frames muted pedals in front of a broad leather seat. At the sides
of that throne, traditional chrome handles front simple leather
panels. And in front of the driver, a tilting Ididit column spins a
polished Lecarra wheel around a polished Lokar shifter.
When it comes to performance, durability and sheer Americana,
nothing beats an old school GM workhorse. Thanks to high-quality
restoration, this stunning C10 wraps a hot drivetrain in a capable
chassis and crisp aesthetics. Ready to stand out from the crowd?
