Vehicle Description
With a performance-built 383 stroker V8, upgraded interior, and
absolutely awesome flames consuming the whole body, you know this
1977 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is the opposite of a sleeper
classic. From the growl of the side pipes to the reaper on the
hood, this is a powerful coupe out to grab all the attention.
The angular style of these GM intermediates has aged rather well,
and the real secret behind this one is the level of quality. You
see it in how the red paint has an impressive shine and highlights
the proper fit of the sheet metal. The chrome bumpers and polished
rockers also have the look of a well-respected American classic.
There are even nice upgrades like the LED headlights and Cragar SS
polished wheels. But none of that is what anyone will be talking
about after you pull away in this Chevelle. Everyone will be
transfixed on the truly evil graphic package. The Grim Reaper is on
the hood to collect the souls of lesser cars. And the airbrushed
flames consuming the sides of this coupe look like a hellfire. So
the growl of the upgraded side pipes is the right voice for this
wicked machine.
While the exterior is extra-mean, the interior is a clean and
comfortable space where everyone will be happy to go for a ride. We
love the look of red to go with the exterior, but here you'll see
it has a terrific stock style, right down to the button-top style
of the seats and door panels. These GM cars are from the few years
of the swivel bucket seat option, and these are working correctly
so that you can even impress the classic Chevy fans out there. And
this one was built to be a good driver, and so the dash is tilted
toward you to make it an easy reach to the upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo
with aux input and the provisions for R134a air conditioning (it
will need servicing to blow cold again.) It's upgraded further with
a Camaro-style sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and a
Hurst shifter coming out of the center console.
The engine bay has a great polished present that includes the air
grabber, Chevrolet valve covers, alternator, compressor, pulleys,
and more. And those support bars running across the top have LEDs
mounted to them so you can really show off this powerhouse. More
than just style, this moto proves it earns its fire-bringing
graphics with a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8. This inhales deeply with
a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and the Hedman headers let this
exhale with added power as they feed the rumbling side pipes. It
also has the right supporting components, like electric fans and a
March serpentine belt system. The three-speed automatic
transmission has a 3,000 RPM stall to keep you in the ideal
powerband, and a nice set of Cooper Cobra tires get the power to
the pavement. But with power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and classic Chevelle Malibu ride, you'll find that this hellion is
actually a heavenly cruiser.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and a dyno sheet.
