Vehicle Description
The RX-7 built by Mazda was built between 1978 and 2002 across
three generations, all of which used a compact lightweight Wankel
rotary engine. The first generation of the RX-7, also known as the
SA22C among the purist which refers to the first alphanumerics of
the VIN#. Mazda has a huge following among its sports cars like the
RX-7 and the Miata. This particular RX-7 is a 2-owner car showing
just over 100,000 miles with some wear and tear that you could
expect from a forty year old vehicle with 100K on the clock. The
car has been sitting a couple of years, but after some fresh fuel
and fluid flush, she came right back to life. I have put several
miles on this car with no issues. The interior is showing signs of
age, the paint has some blemishes and has a couple small spots of
surface rust in a couple sports. The underside is free of rot or
structural corrosion. The car starts right up using the original
choke and within a minute or so idles just fine. Car shifts through
all gears smoothly and the brakes seem good too. Tires are older
and will probably need replaced before any major cross country
trip. All the lights and gauges work as they should including the
original factory radio. This would make a great candidate for a
drive-while-restore or just drive the wheels off of it as you see
it. These cars are a blast to drive. This car comes with quite a
few early service records from the original owner, but due to
current circumstances the most recent service records are not
available. It also comes with all original owners manuals and
factory keys.
