Vehicle Description
The custom/sleek exterior is just the beginning of what makes this
1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Coupe Streetrod so awesome. This is a
full custom build that was made to impress in every way. That
includes the plush A/C interior, upgraded suspension, and shining
fuel-injected V8 under the hood.
You can instantly tell this coupe has a cool style that took a
careful custom eye. After all, this car might come from the
immediate post-WWII era, but the Maui Blue paint is a modern
application. So there's a nice gloss that loves to add definition
to some iconic curves - including the large rounded fenders and
shapely hood. The shine is taken up a notch with the sharply
pointed chrome grille. And while you'll love this for its classic
style, there's also a modern sleekness that comes from details like
the deleted trim, shaved door handles, sport mirrors, and frenched
license plate and halo LED headlights. Plus, there's a thoughtful
sporty flair in the way the polished Centerline wheels show off the
extra meaty rear set and the exhaust tips are integrated into the
rear. So you can just tell this coupe was made to cruise.
Door openers on the key fob are always a cool touch to show off
when you're approaching your classic. And the doors open wide to
reveal a custom interior. It's a stylish and thoughtful total
package that starts with a tasteful gray that looks good against
the bold blue exterior paint that returns on the door tops and
dash. There are nice details, such as the wood-like trim on the
dash and the metal Chevy bow ties in the doors. There's plenty of
room to bring along family and friends, and so this is a very
comfortable total package with cold blowing R134a air conditioning,
power windows, smoked glass windows (not just tinted), and an
AM/FM/CD/Satellite stereo with USB input. And while this is nice
for everyone, the driver always gets priority. That's why you have
a sports steering wheel on a tilt column, billet pedals, and a dash
dominated by a crisp VDO gauge package.
The engine bay has a tidy setup, mirrored firewall, and a shining
heart in the middle. It's a terrific way to show the upgraded
fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch V8. It's a strong runner and the full
package is built to be a solid cruiser. You have a three-speed
automatic transmission, rack & pinion steering, power brakes, front
discs, adjustable rear coilovers, and a Heidts Mustang II-style
independent front end.
