Vehicle Description
This Corvette has undergone a meticulous build over a five-year
period with over 10,000 labor hours involved. Under the hood sits
an electronic fuel-injected 454ci GM LSX V8 Engine rated at 627hp
and 586 ft/lbs of torque. Power is sent to the massive tires out
back through a GM 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission and a Ford
9-inch rear end with limited slip differential inside an
aftermarket FAB9 housing. The Corvette is equipped with air
conditioning, rack & pinion steering and disc brakes with drilled
and slotted rotors on all four corners. This Resto-Mod Corvette
features a custom grafted 1957 front end, upswept tail, 2-inch
channeling, silver paint finish, removable hard top, Billet
Specialties wheels, flush bumpers, custom grille and electronically
powered hood. Place a set of mirrors underneath this custom '62 at
any car show to display the gorgeous condition of the silver
paintwork, floors, wheelhouses and chromoly tube chassis that's
fabricated into the body. For suspension, the Corvette features
4-link suspension in back with polished arms, coilovers all around,
polished tubular lower control arms up front. The LSX V8's headers
flow into a ceramic coated dual exhaust system fitted with Borla
mufflers for that classic Detroit sound. The custom interior of
this '62 Corvette looks amazing with bucket seating, Saddle Brown
leather upholstery with custom inserts throughout, electronic push
button shifter, power windows, polished tilt steering column,
leather and billet aluminum steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges,
billet Vintage Air control panel, polished pedals, cup holders,
along with a beautifully upholstered trunk as well. This Corvette
also has a power trunk that is controlled via remote. This amazing
'62 Corvette is no stranger to awards and was a finalist for the
GoodGuys Vintage Air Custom Rod of the Year 2016, contender for the
2016 Ridler award, Select Six Winner at Chicago World of Wheels
2016, featured at the 2016 SEMA show and the Battle of the
