Vehicle Description
This freshly restored and custom-built 1957 Bel Air is a complete
show-quality high-end build with attention to detail throughout. It
sits on a black powder-coated Art Morrison chassis and the exterior
is expertly finished in black paint laid over a laser-straight
body. Thousands of man-hours were put into this no-expense-spared
build. This '57 is powered by a new GM special limited-edition
anniversary all-aluminum 427/480hp V8 engine (#195 of 427 made)
with a FiTech GO EFI dual-quad setup. The engine is mated to a TCI
6-speed programmable automatic transmission delivering power to a
Strange 9-inch differential with posi-traction clutch pack and 3.70
gears. Spent gases exit through custom ceramic-coated headers
feeding a custom-made 3-inch exhaust system. The high-performance
suspension consists of coilovers all around, tubular control arms,
a 4-link rear-end setup, power rack & pinion steering and
heavy-duty sway bars. This custom Chevy rides on one-off
custom-built polished aluminum Foose wheels with Nitto Extreme
low-profile tires, 225/40 ZR 18 front and 285/30 ZR 20 rear.
Stopping is handled with a power-assisted Wilwood master cylinder
and chrome Wilwood 6-piston calipers with 14-inch slotted and
drilled rotors. The custom interior features a complete custom dash
with console and gauges, custom power seat with leather throughout
the interior, Vintage Air, power windows, polished tilt-column and
a Pioneer stereo system with pop-out screen, GPS and MP3
capability. The engine compartment is finished with custom inner
fender panels, a smoothed firewall and aluminum hood hinges.
