This 1958 Pro-Touring Corvette was professionally built with a new
6.2-liter direct-injected Corvette V8 engine producing 460hp and
465 ft/lbs of torque. The engine is backed by a 4L75E automatic
transmission and the Corvette rides on an Art Morrison C7 chassis
with fully adjustable ride height with JRI coilover shocks. The
frame has been powder-coated in silver to match the color of the
side coves. Equipped with Wilwood C7 6-piston calipers, 14-inch
rotors, and stainless-steel brake lines. The Corvette rides on EVOD
one-off wheels made to look like a modern original-style with
knock-off center nuts and shaved Nitto tires with added whitewalls
for a custom look. It also has power rack & pinion steering, a
whisper-quiet Aeromotive 340 Phantom Stealth in-tank fuel pump,
Fragola Teflon fuel lines and fittings, Vintage Air conditioning,
GM wiring harness and factory-programmed computer. The body is
all-original and was completely stripped with glass beads before
being finished in PPG Jet Black and Global High Solids Clear. The
same attention to detail was performed on the bottom side of the
car, which was painted with a black ceramic coating. All body gaps
are excellent, body panels are laser-straight, and the fit and
finish is unparalleled. The interior features custom
hand-fabricated red leather seats, door panels, custom gauges and
leather dash. It has a new stereo made to look exactly like the
original 1958 Wonder Bar model with Bluetooth, JL amplifier,
subwoofer and Focal speakers. The convertible top was completely
restored. This custom 'Vette has been driven just over 650 miles
since its extensive build and comes with engine and transmission
specs, all wiring schematics, instruction manuals and pictures.
