This 1965 Corvette Resto-Mod was professionally built in 2017 by
LUCRA Cars in San Marcos, CA. It received a complete frame-off
nut-and-bolt restoration and upgrade to a modern Resto-Mod
Stingray. While disassembled the frame was stripped and
powder-coated. The car looks 100-percent stock from the exterior
and interior, but features a modern 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine under
the hood backed by a 4L65E automatic transmission and posi-traction
rear end. The engine is kept cool via a Griffin Performance
radiator with electric fans. The Corvette presents in stunning
black PPG paint and over a red leather interior. For suspension,
the 'Vette rides on RideTech coilover suspension and features a
rack & pinion steering system. A set of Wilwood brakes with
stainless-steel brake lines provide ample stopping power. Keeping
things temperate is a Vintage Air climate control system and the
Corvette features Smart Wire solid state electronics. Additional
features include a Griffin Performance radiator with electric fans.
The 'Vette features knock-off spinners, and a complete set of
restoration photos are included in the sale.
