Owned by the consigning family for 45 years, this 1957 Chevy Bel
Air received a professional no-expense-spared frame-off rotisserie
restoration by Chucci's Rod & Custom of Hallsville, TX. It has been
upgraded with modern technology throughout and has just 2,062 miles
since completion. Power comes from an electronically fuel-injected
Gen II LT1 5.7-liter V8 engine mated to a 700R4 4-speed automatic
transmission. The engine is fitted with a Street & Performance
serpentine belt system, cooled by a Be Cool radiator with dual
electric fans and highly detailed with chrome accessories and
color-matched covers. Spent gases exit through headers attached to
a stainless-steel exhaust system. This Bel Air also features
Classic Industries power rack & pinion steering with remote
reservoir, Aeroquip stainless-steel lines and fittings, Street
Performance engine wiring with Painless wiring throughout the
chassis and a stainless-steel gas tank with internal fuel pump. The
frame has been powder-coated in a burgundy color and fitted with
McCarthy 2-inch drop spindles, Hotchkis Sport suspension sway bars
front and back, Monroe shocks and power disc brakes all around.
This Bel Air rides on Billet Specialties wheels measuring 16 inches
up front and 17 inches out back, wrapped in Kumho tires. The custom
interior features two-tone leather, Cadillac Eldorado 6-way
adjustable electric seats, a Dakota Digital dash cluster and clock.
The interior is adorned with a billet polished aluminum dash band,
rearview mirror, air conditioning vents and a custom console with
cup holders and storage compartment color-matched to the cars
exterior color. It also has an Ididit chrome tilt steering column
with shifter, Budnik polished chrome and leather steering wheel and
SPW electric power windows with AutoLoc switches. The cabin is
cooled by a Vintage Air climate-control system with a Sanden
compressor. Sound is provided by an Eclipse CD/MP3/WMA/Sirius
iPod-ready stereo system with remote control. The Chevy has a
custom sound box and panel in the trunk with a KICKER 400-watt RMS
amp, Eclipse 60-watt amp, Focal Access 6.5 Comp Set speakers and
8-inch L5 SQ dual speakers. It also has SPW Electric Wipers and
Halogen Sport Headlights. The Bel Air has won several awards, most
notably a Top 10 at Ol' Marais River Run 2016, Best of Show at
Rockaway Beach Centennial Celebration 2017 and Best Paint at Street
Machine Nationals 2016. The sale includes detailed receipts on both
parts and labor.
