For Sale at Auction: 1927 Ford Model T in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

Nicknamed "The Grocery Getter," this fully custom roadster was built from the ground up by Kindig-It Design and featured on MotorTrend TV's popular show "Bitchin' Rides." Power comes from a 480hp GM performance LS3 V8 engine topped with Harrop injection and mated to a 4L65E automatic transmission with a Currie Enterprises Ford 9-inch rear end. The fully custom roadster features a Shadow Rod 27XL body with hand-built hood and side panels by Kindig-It Design. The bodywork is finished in "Bubbly" from the new Modern Classikk by Kindig paint line. Further touches include oversized 9-inch Greening Auto Company headlights and custom taillights. The roadster rides on front cantilever suspension setup - also designed by Greening Auto Company - with RideTech coilovers at all four corners. The wheels are one-off Billet Specialties designed by Dave Kindig and the staggered 16- and 18-inch wheels are wrapped in Coker Excelsior tires. The interior work was performed by JS Customs and the custom-molded seat, center console and door/side panels are wrapped in Terracotta leather from Hydes Leather. The center-mounted instrument cluster has a vintage aesthetic and features Dakota Digital gauges and a Koch's '49 Ford steering wheel adds to the classic feel. The roadster features several modern amenities including cup holders, heat and air conditioning, and a KICKER audio system. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE**
