Check out this gorgeous 1985 Cadillac Eldorado! Beginning back in 1953, Cadillac's flagship personal luxury coupe was the Eldorado through 2002.Over 10 generations, the car evolved with the style and expectations of the times, but always remained a luxury icon. From the massive fins of the '50s and '60s, the car shrunk quite a bit in 1979 for its 8th generation. With tightening emissions restrictions and climbing fuel prices, auto manufacturers were experimenting with different drive train ideas. Cadillac even tried a diesel V8 in the Eldorado which did not have strong success. By 1985, they had it figured out. This '85 is equipped with the 4.1L Digital Fuel Injection V8. The engine is quiet and smooth, yet powerful, which is what an Eldorado should be. This particular car is finished in jet black which gives the car a timeless look. The car was repainted a few years ago, and shines like it was just done. The car sits on wheels with wire hub caps and looks classy in black. The interior is black leather as you'd expect and in wonderful condition. It's amazing to see a car like this which has only traveled 28,817 miles since new! Talk about a time capsule, this car hardly looks used. Of course, it has all the luxuries: AC, AM/FM/Cassette, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, power seats, remote starter, automatic door/lock opener, tilt column, leather interior and white wall tires. You might call this the last of the classic Eldorados, as the later generations were rounded off and more mundane in appearance. This car has presence and is sure to gather attention wherever you take it. You can see this 1985 Cadillac Eldorado in greater detail in Hingham, MA.
