1951 Ford Victoria Hardtop, the first year for a true Hardtop Ford. This car was in a collection of early Fords in Western Montana and was meticulously restored to AACA standards by the owner of 20+ years.
Solid and rust free car that retains all of its original sheetmetal including floors and rocker panels. It was stripped to bare metal before its repaint in Correct two tone light Blue was applied. Show quality Finish fully sanded and buffed for a mirror finish. All exterior chrome and stainless pieces were refinished. This car sports dual mirrors, gravel guards, and door handle deflectors. All weatherstripping and window seals were replaced with new.
The interior is all correct as original sourced from Lebaron Bonney. Carpets are wool. All of the windows roll up and down well. The AM radio works well. The wipers turn on but are vacuum operated and weak. All of the gauges work properly.
The original 8BA Flathead V8 was completely rebuilt and runs beautifully. The 3 speed transmission with overdrive was rebuilt as well but the optional overdrive is currently not operational. All of the suspension and brakes were rebuilt. Drives great and feels very tight.
Rarely are these car finished to this level, truly a beautiful car with less than 500 miles since restoration.
