Recently completed, this 1961 Corvette Resto-Mod is a high-end
build finished in House of Kolor Orion Silver paint. The power
plant is a modern LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 650hp
and 650 ft/lbs of torque mated to an 8L90E 8-speed automatic
transmission with tap shifter. The engine was painted gun metal
gray to give it a nice contrast with the Orion Silver paint. All
engine accessories were finished in a gloss black, and all hoses
are black braided. The body is set on a new Art Morrison GT Sport
independent front suspension chassis. The GT chassis is augmented
by Strange adjustable coilover shocks and an adjustable sway bar,
it also utilizes a power rack & pinion steering. The rear
suspension is a triangulated 4-bar suspension with a 9-inch rear
end with adjustable coilover shocks and an adjustable sway bar. The
chassis was finished with a gun metal gray powder coat for
durability and to match the engine color. The Corvette rides on
custom-built Schott Wheels that measure 18-inches up front and
20-inches at the rear. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot
Super Sport tires to give this car the perfect stance. The car is
equipped with large Wilwood disc brakes and a Wilwood master
cylinder. The custom-built headers and exhaust are polished
stainless. The gas tank is a custom-built stainless tank by Rick's
Tanks. The custom leather interior was done by Paul Atkins
Interiors. Custom Dakota Digital gauges were installed along with a
Vintage Air climate control system. The sound system's stereo and
speakers are Alpine with Bluetooth capability and an integrated
backup camera. Electric side windows are controlled by switches in
the custom center console. Other custom features include an
electric actuated hood opener and electric actuated emergency
brake. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
