There are very few Typhoons left in this condition. The GMC Typhoon
was released after the high performance pickup, the GMC Syclone,
and added rear seats. Although it was slower, the Typhoon was more
comfortable and still considered quick. 0-60 came in 5.3 seconds
and it covered a quarter mile in the low-14s. GMCs Typhoon was the
first and only performance SUV of its time, and only 5000 were ever
