Launched at the 1969 Frankfurt Auto Show, the 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider was produced for both the European and American markets, meeting an inundation of requests for an open-top version. Ferrari only built 121 Daytona Spiders, which represents just a fraction of the 1,406 total examples built during Daytona production. Although a number were converted to spiders later in their life, genuine Daytona Spiders command a substantial premium over coupes and are undoubtedly the most desirable road going Daytonas built. 96 examples were slated for the U.S. market, with the remainder of the production run earmarked for Europe. Harrah's U.S. West Coast Ferrari distributorship Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada who re-sold it to Hollywood Sports Cars in Hollywood, California. This example was one of only a handful produced in stunning Bianco Polo with a Nero interior.
