2004 Chevrolet Blazer Xtreme

The Chevrolet K5 Blazer was based on the C/K pickup chassis and introduced in 1969. In 1983 the S10 pickup was introduced and of course the S10 Blazer mid sized compact SUV model followed suit. The S10 Blazer was produced until 2005 with 2 generations in its existence so this '04 belongs to the second generation and was one of the last produced. It is also the "Xtreme" edition which was only a package offered on the 2 doors making it very unique in that most SUVs of any size were no longer being produced with less than 4 doors. In fact, even outside of the SUV market in cars you will see 2 door models slowly disappearing as we go into the 2000s. The Xtreme edition offered some additional body styling's you couldn't get on the standard trim levels. The Blazer has been well maintained throughout its life and the Dark Blue paint looks good. The glass is all good as well with dark tinted rear windows and slightly lighter front glass. It rides on its original Xtreme wheels with Yokohama YK580 tires.

Pop the hood on this Blazer and that's where the fun really begins. Originally they were powered by a 4.3L V6 but this one is now sporting a 5.7 LS1 motor. The conversion was professionally done by LSX Unlimited in 2018 and runs great. During the rebuild it received an all new cam, lifters, seals, etc. It was completely redone less than 10,000 miles ago. It provides plenty of power and has no problem sending this Blazer flying down the road. It is paired with an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. The vehicle is all factory Blazer Xtreme except for the converted motor and the Flowmaster exhaust.

The interior is done in Gray cloth and the upholstery is in good condition throughout. The rear seat folds over to offer plenty of additional storage space when needed. All of the gauges, switches, etc are all original. The only modification is the aftermarket Pioneer Mixtrax AM/FM/CD player with USB and Bluetooth.

If you are in the market for a unique vehicle that would make an excellent daily driver this is one to check out. Being the Xtreme model sets it apart from other Blazers on the road and with a LS1 motor really takes it up a notch further.
