This is a genuine GT-A, S-code 390 car. Upgraded with a performance
built 428. It's a tough muscle car including the sound. Georgia
built, lived down south, very solid.
EXTERIOR: Kind of a sleeper. No GT stripes, has poverty wheels.
Although the scooped hood suggests something mean lurks under the
hood. Super clean metal body, I believe it is original metal.
Straight, fits right, no bubbles or issues. Doors shut like new.
Repainted it's original color. 15 inch rims are painted body color,
extra wide in back. Has BFG tires. Upfront the bumper looks new,
the bezels and grill are really nice shape. The stainless moldings
around the windshield are straightened and polished, has the
correct antenna. Chrome vent window pillars are not pitted. Rear
bumper is rechromed, trim on trunk is good original. Door jambs are
painted nice. Still has the original door tag, weather strips and
window seals.
INTERIOR: Restored to excellent condition. The seats are completely
reupholstered, even the backs of the buckets. Chrome trim on the
bucket seats look brand new. Also has seat belts front and back.
The door panels have been replaced. Lights in the armrests work.
New carpet and Ford Racing embroidered floor mats. The dash pad is
the new and fits excellent. The instrument panel is in very good
shape, nothing's broke or beat up. Neatly installed tachometer on
the column and oil and water gauges under the dash. It has a
B&M performance shifter on the floor. Headliner is new and fitz
tight, visors are new, dome light works. All the trim, moldings,
package tray are in really great condition.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 428 has had a complete high performance
rebuild. Has R-code dual quad set up with 2 giant Holley
carburetors. Also upgraded with Edelbrock aluminum heads and water
pump. Has long tube, two-piece headers. Motorcraft distributor, the
wires run neatly. It has an external oil cooler. Everything is
installed very neatly and proper. Dressed up with a set of new
chrome valve covers and oval finned aluminum air cleaner. The
engine bay is super clean original metal. The factory stamps, spot
welds and seams are clean. New fender bolts. There's a transmission
cooler mounted behind the grill.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Nice looking trunck compartment. Underneath the
new liner is super clean metal with a nice grey and white spatter
finish paint. You see the top of a new gas tank and also has new
side filler panels. There is a white rim with an original GT tire
and a jack. The jamb and bottom of the trunk lid are repainted
smooth and glossy. New weatherstrip and decal.
UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor is clean, has Miloden oil pan, new
fuel pump. Has a TCI C-6 automatic trans, looks fresh. Has chrome
pan. Ford 9 inch posi rear. Has crazy 2 piece headers that snake
around the suspension, then it leads to a set of electric dumps.
Fat pipes go to a set of Flowmaster mufflers and then all the way
out the back. Fuel tank, sending unit and line were replaced.
Brakes were redone. Front end looks like it was rebuilt. Shocks
look recent. Has traction bars in back. The metal looks real clean.
Floors, rockers, lower inner 1/4s all look dry. Painted a nice semi
gloss black. The entire bottom of this car is clean and fresh
looking.
Very clean, well built hot rod. This car is tough. Open those dumps
and really upset the neighbors!
