forever. €" Scott Oldham, Hagerty, September 2019 More of Mr.
Oldham's sentiment: You know the old saying, everything is for
sale. And I have thought about selling the Formula over the years
as my collection has grown and the values of third-gen F-cars have
risen. But then I take it out for a drive with the top down,
usually up Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu, and run Mullholand and
the area's other twisty two-lanes like Stunt and Schueren. It isn't
fast compared to today's cars, but man, does it drive sweet. Just
like it did on day one back in July 1989. I think I'll hold on to
it. Forever. You can read his entire, impassioned review of his '89

Offered here is a 1989 Firebird Formula 350 in red over dark-gray.
Owned by the same individual for 30 years 9almost forever), the car
is virtually entirely stock and unmodified. It shows every sign of
having been very well-maintained over its life. The Formula model
is favorably regarded both for its engine and its WS6 performance
suspension. (WS6 stands for Wide Suspension/6 pieces, namely 2
thicker sway bars and 4 stiffer springs.) The car's odometer shows
39,890 miles, or a very conservative, fewer-than-1,300 miles
per-year on average since new. The condition of exterior paint is
always a reliable indicator of owner care. Here the bright red
paint's gloss is consistent and there is no sign of fading.
Reflectivity is excellent from front bumper, across the hood (with
rear-facing scoop), to the rear-deck spoiler. Another indication of
owner care lies in the condition of exterior graphics, in
particular on a car like this which has no three-dimensional
emblems. White decals account for all identification. This car
shows a completely crisp and undamaged Formula signature on the
front bumper, the Firebird symbol and Pontiac on the rear, and the
large Formula 350 door identification. All cabin glass is
undamaged; the large glass hatch has been dark-tinted to avoid
interior-surface sun-fading (yet another indicator of owner care).
Lighting lenses-including on the pop-up headlights-are clear and
free of cracks. Factory 16-inch, angled-spoke alloy wheels with
WS6-branded center caps and Pontiac-embossing are mounted with
Hankook® Ventus V2 Concept performance tires. One more indication
of owner love: the car's original owner sticker was carefully
retained. (Please see the photo gallery for images of the window
sticker showing a complete listing of the Firebird's standard and
optional equipment.) Inside, the combination of light and dark gray
makes for a perfect complement to the red exterior. Door panels
show how well the combination works (both shades of gray with black
trim). Vertically pleated, light-gray cloth (in excellent condition
with the barest minimum of expected wear on the outside bolster of
the driver's seat) covers the well-bolstered seats. Cabin-floor
carpet (including the cargo area) is darker, charcoal-gray, again
with some wear-indication in the driver's footwell. The
Pontiac-branded, contemporary-design, sport steering wheel frames
four driver-oriented instrument openings including separate
tachometer and speedometer, as we
