Vehicle Description
This 1965 Ford Mustang GT Tribute fulfills your wish list from day
one. The exterior is extra bold and extra sporty. The interior is
extra comfy with cold-blowing A/C. And the 289 V8 has been given
the right upgrades to give this pony car an extra kick of
power.
Poppy Red is a terrific color. It was only around for 1964-65 and
it has a boldness that even looks orange in some lights. This one
looks particularly nice because it was upgraded to this color with
a later professional respray that makes it really pop in the
sunshine. The chrome bumpers and trim have also been polished to
make this a uniform shining total package. So you have quite a
sharp-looking coupe even before you spot all the GT upgrades. This
has the right look for a performance pony with fog lights in the
grille, a white triple stripe on the rockers, and the trumpeted
dual exhaust integrated into the rear valance. They even did the
right details like eliminating the bumper guards and adding a GT
badging, including gas cap. And those styled steel wheels look
excellent with classic double redline tires.
The rocker stripes not only look great, but they're also a preview
of the interior. The seats, door panels, and headliner all have a
bright white appearance of quality. Plus, the steering wheel and
lower dash really bring out even more of this upper-class
disposition. They also kept it practical with the carpeting all
done in black and a dash pad to match. This one likes to keep its
classic style, right down to the details. So you have the working
courtesy lights, the early Mustang instrument panel w/wide
speedometer, and even the AM radio powers up for a display. And
while this has the classic look of a vintage A/C unit, it's
actually a recent investment in a full system blowing cold with
modern R134a refrigerant for easy servicing.
The engine bay has the sharp look of a solid investment. It
includes an upgraded aluminum radiator, polished valve covers, good
hoses, and a new gas tank. And the center is a tidy 289 cubic-inch
V8. These hardy motors love upgrades, and so this one was given a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake, and
Hooker long tube headers feeding the dual exhaust. This GT tribute
enjoys being a true classic that likes you to feel the road. But it
also has the right cruising features like a three-speed automatic
transmission and an overall solid feeling from quality
investments.
This has the sporty style you want from a GT and the overall
quality of a classic you can proudly drive. So you know it's the
kind of distinct Mustang you need in your garage. Call today!!!
