Vehicle Description
With upgraded V8 power, the control of a five-speed, and an AC
interior, this 1967 Ford Mustang has all the right features to
create the kind of classic that was built for driving.
This one has all the features that you want in a pony car. The Mag
500 wheels and dual exhaust tips are about showing off a
performance look. And of course, the deluxe hood with working turn
signal indicators is an awesome premium feature that was seen for
the first time in '67. There's also nice brightwork with the
form-hugging chrome bumpers and complete trim. It all seems to
represent the 1967 car well because this is when the bodywork was
updated to be a bit more aggressive while still representing the
original pony car design. It has a timeless style, and so it's nice
to have it done in a timelessly attractive white. The paint strikes
the right balance of a good glow with an overall driver-quality
appearance. It makes for a classic built for the road, and as you
dig into the details, you'll see that driving is what this one was
made to do.
The aqua interior is the factory-correct color, and it looks nice
against the white exterior. You can tell they made the right
investments along the way to keep it looking attractive, and we
especially like the upgrade to comfy velour seats. There are nice
classic details, like the working AM radio. But what really makes
this a good modern cruiser are upgrades like the R134a air
conditioning. And this one was built to be a driver. That's why you
have the upgraded sports steering wheel, full gauges w/tach, and a
center console with an upgraded Hurst shifter.
The 289 cubic-inch V8 is such a legendary displacement for the
first-gen Mustangs, and so it's quite nice to see this under the
hood of this C-code coupe. But while the displacement is correct,
there has been a solid investment here in added power. You have a
full Edelbrock upgrade suite with heads, a four-barrel carburetor,
intake, polished valve covers, and a screen air grabber. There are
more great additions, including an HEI ignition and long tube
headers. The dual exhaust makes a nice rumble, and when you really
want to bring the thunder, the electronic cutouts make a
high-octane soundtrack on demand. You truly get this full control
over the enhanced V8 thanks to the five-speed manual transmission
upgrade. Plus, you have power steering and power brakes for a
confident driver.
This is the pony car that has been upgraded in all the best ways,
you want. So don't let it slip away, call today!
