Completed on March 16, 1956, this XK-140 was then dispatched to the
USA and delivered to its first owner, Mr. J.C. Pilon through Jaguar
franchise dealer, Budd & Dyer as verified by its Jaguar Daimler
Heritage Trust certificate. It has then enjoyed several long-term
collector owners. In its most recent ownership, it has been part of
a well-known Georgia collection.
The XK-140 has been declared the best of the XK model range by
enthusiasts and collectors alike due to its exceptional looks,
specifications and usability. The XK-120 touted as probably the
most beautiful of the range, but not as user friendly, especially
to those over 5'8" and the XK-150, exceptional in its own right,
but perceived by many to be a bit too bulbus in comparison to both
the XK-120 and XK-140.
This particular XK-140 MC Roadster is exceptional in absolutely
every respect. It has been restored, well cared for to date,
prepped for rally and tour enjoyment and with several upgrades that
truly make it an excellent and reliable driver's XK.
This XK-140 MC benefits exceptional care and maintenance throughout
the years. It is eligible for some of the world's best vintage tour
and rally events and currently ready for immediate use and
enjoyment.
