Vehicle Description
Take some extra time looking over this 1962 Chevrolet C10 Restomod,
because they took extra time building it. The distinct two-tone
exterior, leather-lined interior, and fuel-injected Vortec V8 are
all part of a thoughtfully upgraded pickup package.
This was one of the first years for the C10, and this one shows off
all the best pieces of the era. The two-tone is a great vintage
combo. The glossy blue highlights the beltline curve that gave this
generation an hourglass kind of figure. And the white does a
terrific job of drawing extra attention to the full-length trim
that shows off how straight the sheet metal is. Mirror-like
bumpers, a white roof, and Custom-line cab corners are all about
the thoughtful details. There's only about 12k miles on this build,
and the overall use shows quite good care. So you can really see
the terrifically detailed vintage package, right down to the glossy
and premium oak wood in the truck bed. However, there are also the
right hints that this is an upgraded machine. The aggressive
forward-leaning stance, half-moon hubcaps, and distinct front end
give this classic the right individual touch.
The interior continues the vintage style with thoughtful upgrades.
For example, the two-tone continues on the inside. The blue
highlights the smooth classic steel of the doors and dash. The
white introduces a supple leather seat that has far better
contouring than a stock bench, and it even has built-in cup
holders. The most obvious upgrade of them all is the AM/FM/CD
stereo with aux input that allows you the best in modern driving
music. Plus, the driver's upgrades are subtle but significant. The
classic-style steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column, there's a
tall Lokar shifter, and your readouts are now a full set of Dolphin
backlit gauges.
You are going to lift the hood everywhere you park just so you can
show off the modern powerhouse nestled in such a tidy engine bay.
The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was installed with such care that the
fuel-injected powerhouse looks like the factory installed it. And
the smooth black presentation looks like it came off the line
yesterday. And while this is already a healthy upgrade in power,
they took it a step further. It now has a 92mm throttle body, 706
heads, and Dougs headers feeding an X-pipe dual exhaust. This is
the right kind of truck to receive the motor upgrade. This
first-gen C10 put Chevy on a smoother riding coil spring rear
suspension, and so it makes for a better cruising pickup. And
features like the four-speed automatic transmission with
highway-friendly overdrive and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan
are everyday useful kinds of upgrades. Plus, you have power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide Cooper Cobra tires to
make for an all-around solid driver.
Complete with the owner's manual, this Chevy has been given the
right investment in both vintage style and modern cruising
upgrades. It makes for a stunner that you can show off near or far
in comfort. Call today!!!
