Take some time to go over all the details of this 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro RS Restomod, because they sure took the time to go over the
details when restoring it. It's a thoughtful build with vibrant
paint, terrific lines, a houndstooth A/C interior, four-wheel disc
brakes, an overdrive transmission, and a fuel-injected LT1 heart...
and much more!
Hugger Orange is such an iconic Chevy color that it pretty much can
attract a crowd on its own. So it's great to see a trim tag that
tells us this coupe was born this way. It only gets better when the
factory-correct color was updated with a professional respray. So
the sun loves to radiate off this nuclear color. And that shine
also loves to show how crisp and straight the body panels are. The
doors close with confidence and the bumpers shine bright to get the
fundamentals right. Plus, you'll like the best Super Sport
aggressive elements, like the front air dam, super scoop hood, D80
rear spoiler, and the D90 hockey stick is done in a distinctive
white. And because this is badged a Rally Sport (currently no
buildsheet for definitive proof) you have the iconic hidden
headlight front end. And while you're looking at all the awesome
details, we bet you'll pick up on the upgraded US Mags staggered at
17/18-inch front/rear for a nice stance. These modern wheels allow
for modern tires, and they hint at the modern upgrades within.
The upgrade to the houndstooth cloth interior is almost as much of
an icon as the exterior orange. The idea is to look good, but also
be less of a shrine and more about a carefree driver. That's also
why this has a well-integrated mix of vintage and new. For example,
the center console has the classic wood-like trim, but they also
added a tall armrest, cup holders, and a newer set of auxiliary
gauges. The radio is a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette,
and the classic climate control sliders are really part of a newer
Vintage Air air conditioning system. And while the steering wheel
looks like a classic Chevy piece, it's actually a smaller diameter
sports unit mounted on a tilt column. So you can really understand
how the whole package is subtly done to be an awesome driver.
The motor is something you're going to want to display, and so they
made sure the engine bay was ready for primetime. Clean inner
walls, a custom slam panel, and a tidy setup look terrific. We
especially love the custom covers that are color-matched to the
rest of the orange. And the Corvette logos hint at where this power
really comes from. It's a fuel-injected 5.7-liter LT1 V8. This has
been installed with the kind of care that looks like it has been
here from day one. And it has all the right supporting pieces, like
an aluminum radiator, an Optima red top battery, and shorty headers
that add power and rumble to the dual exhaust. This fires up
readily, like a car that wants to hit the road. And the power
steering and four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive make it
a solid cruiser. Plus, modern sport tires and four-wheel power disc
brakes give it a more confident driver.
This is the coupe with iconic style, the best upgrades, and a
strong fuel-injected heart. So don't let it slip away, call
today!
