The first generation Mustang was manufactured from March 1964 until
1973 and created a new class of automobile known as the 'pony car'.
This '66 Mustang coupe is a well-preserved original example (sans
one respray) of this iconic brand. The owner stated that the
mileage (87,000) is believed to be actual and that the 289ci/2v
engine (C-code) is the factory motor and has not been rebuilt. The
Windsor engine currently incorporates an electronic ignition and
has been recently serviced with new plugs, distributor cap, wires,
belts and hoses. Torque is delivered via a C4 3-speed automatic
gearbox to a stock differential and it sounds strong though a dual
exhaust setup. The solid body was professionally reshot in original
Arcadian Blue Silver Blue finish (F-code). A Parchment Crinkle
vinyl top is in very good condition as is all chrome/stainless
trim. Factory Mustang GT wheels mount Kuhmo Power Prima white-wall
radial tires. The Mustang's original Rosette Beige interior is in
very good condition. There is a complete set of factory gauges, a
classic 3-spoke wheel and an AM sound system for your tunes. A new
windshield and front/back window seals have been installed along
with a new headliner/visors. The solid chassis has been upgraded
with front disc brakes (rear drum), dual master cylinder and
stainless lines. If you want a fun, classic Blue Oval, this sharp
Mustang coupe has your name on it. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS"
