This Coast to Coast 37 Ford was pro built by California Body Works.
Only 5,800 miles since completed. Stunning looks, the sleek lines
in and out are impressive.
EXTERIOR: Coast to Coast did an incredible job taking the classic
1937 Ford into the future. The tipped back grill, headlights and
windshield along with the aggressive stance makes it looks like
it's going 100 mph sitting still. The high peeked front fenders,
suicide doors and chopped roof adds to the stunning looks. The
fiberglass body is straight. The doors, trunk and even the hood pop
open remotely. The hardtop lifts off. Frankly it's just as stylish
or even more with the top on. The burgundy metallic is absolutely
gorgeous and the silver is a perfect contrast. Overall it is smooth
and glossy. If you look closely there are a few minor
imperfections. It has some subtle hand pinstripe too. There is no
chrome or trim for a clean look. The taillights are flush mount. It
is rolling on a set of highly polished American Racing wheels. They
are 17s in front, 20s in back with Michelin performance tires.
INTERIOR: The sleek, modern style continues inside too. Covered in
Ultra Soft leather. The bolstered seats slide back far enough that
anyone around 6 ft tall has plenty of leg room. The sculpted door
panels have billet handles. Sharp looking instrument panel has a
wood grain insert and a full set of gauges. The tilt column has a
custom steering wheel. The center console has a hidden compartment
with all the controls- heat/ac, power windows, lights. Great
sounding stereo has 4 round speakers and a sub woofer.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, put on your sunglasses. It is fully
dressed in polished parts. It has a reliable 350 crate motor with
an endura shine intake, polished Edelbrock carb, HEI ignition and a
set of coated headers. There is a matched set of highly polished
valve covers, air cleaner and plug wire holders. The front of the
motor has a chrome alternator, billet brackets, a polished a/c
compressor and power steering. The hardware for the hood is chrome.
Runs cool with an aluminum radiator and a polished overflow bottle.
The engine bay is painted slick like the car.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is completely boxed and upholstered in ultra
leather and a carpeted floor. There are 2 storage compartments and
a 3rd compartment holds the battery.
UNDERSIDE: Up front it has a Mustang ll suspension with with
tubular upper and lower control arms, adjustable coil over gas
shocks and a rack & pinion steering. In back it has a four link
system with shocks, airbags and tubular control arms. The dual
exhaust system has a crossover pipe, stainless steel Magnaflow
mufflers and chrome tips going out the back. Looking up at the
motor it's clean, the starter looks new. A 700R-4 overdrive auto
with converter lock up has an external cooler with an electric fan.
A 10 bolt rear end is in the back. Brakes are slotted and drilled
discs in front, drum in back. It has a square tube frame with
supports and drive shaft safety loop.
This car is rolling art. It looks like a prototype rendering that
actually came true. Guaranteed to turn heads!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
