paperwork, Eleanor body VIN plate and emblems. This 1968 Ford
Mustang is powered by a 588ci/9.6L Roush V8 engine based on the
A460 4-bolt main with Super Cobra Jet Heads. The Roush V8 is rated
630HP/690 ft/lbs of torque and routes it through a TREMEC TKO 600
5-speed manual transmission. The rear end is a Fab 9 housing fitted
with a Mosher 3.25 posi-traction third member while Strange
31-spline axles send the horsepower to the 17-inch Eleanor-style
wheels fitted with Goodyear tires. The body rests on a 2x3 tube
chassis that is all welded with gusset plates. The interior has
Procar Rally seats, and the dash is fitted with JME white-faced
electric instruments with custom fold-down rear seats. A
Shelby-style center console contains Textra gauges, including a
back-up camera. The Flowmaster Delta 40 mufflers with teardrop
exhaust are mounted underneath. Additional specifications include
4-link suspension, 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, Wilwood spindles,
steel bellhousing, MSD ignition, Ford Powertrain application
headers with Moore power coatings, Tru-Trac FEAD belts, McLeod
hydraulic throw out bearings, upper console, Old Air Products heat
and air conditioning, Viper security system and Alpine stereo with
amplifiers hidden in the trunk. This Tribute Edition also features
an Eleanor-style clutch pedal, brake pedal and accelerator.
