Vehicle Description
This Corvette was the recipient of a highly documented
no-expense-spared frame-off restoration by Artisan's Rod and
Customs of Fort Wayne, IN. The Corvette has been driven only 700
miles since the build was completed. The frame and body were
restored to better-than-factory standards. This '64 Corvette was
originally built on July 7, 1964, and was an original California
car. It is finished in Ermine White (Code 936) over a white
interior with red carpet (code 899). The car was delivered brand
new to Jack Coyle Chevrolet in San Bernardino, CA. The car was NCRS
verified in February 2012 and comes with a reproduction of the
original Window Sticker. This Resto-Mod 'Vette is equipped with a
fuel-injected LS2 V8 engine from a 2008 Corvette mated to a TREMEC
5-speed manual transmission. The engine was purchased for this
build from Dino's Corvette Salvage. This no expense-spared build
included upgrading to a Vintage Air system, even though the car
came equipped with air conditioning from the factory. The car was
also upgraded with a Classic Car Audio sound system, Steeroid power
steering system, Be Cool radiator, Dakota Digital gauges in white
with red lighting, reproduction knock-off wheels on American
Classic radial tires, disc brake conversion, MSD Atomic
fuel-injection system, Wilson throttle body, FAST LSX 92mm intake
manifold, Hooker headers, Canton wet-sump oil pan, premium Tru Trac
serpentine belt drive system, several Billet Specialties items, VBP
Street Suspension kit, Hydramax hydraulic clutch system, a 3.73
rear end, electric headlight motor conversion and so much more.
This car is the ideal combination of a completely stock appearing
midyear Corvette, but with the reliability, performance and
creature comforts of a modern car. Built to the highest standards,
this Corvette is ready to drive and show.
