1963 Chrysler Imperial Crown in Scottsdale, Arizona
This 1963 Crown Imperial is one of 531 Imperial convertibles built
for entire model year production, the final year for designer
Virgil Exner's spare-no-extravagance body style. It is powered by
its original, date-coded 413ci big-block V8 engine and original
3-speed automatic TorqueFlite transmission. This original Florida
car was purchased from the John Staluppi Cars of Dreams Collection
in 2020 and was the recipient of a complete, ground-up,
nut-and-bolt restoration over a two-year period to a high standard
of accuracy, finish and mechanical excellence. It has been driven
approximately 12,000 miles since the completion of the restoration.
In addition to power steering, brakes windows and vent windows, the
car comes with factory-optional air conditioning. The authentic OEM
factory wire wheels pop with retro beauty and new correct white
sidewall radial tires were installed less than 12 months and 100
miles ago. Nothing fully speaks to the magnificent elegance of the
Crown Imperials built when Chrysler Corp spared no resources to
complete at the top of the luxury car market. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
