The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1995 Ford Mustang "Callahan Quarterhorse'' for your consideration. This Mustang was one of four lucky cars that were selected to receive special upgrades from the legendary Kenny Brown to earn this car the name of a Callahan Quarterhorse. The idea for this car came from a need to compete with the likes of the Chevrolet Z28 and Pontiac Firehawk SLP which Kenny Brown accomplished by delivering a perfect balance of power and handling for under $30,000. A complete list of modifications can be viewed in the above series of photos, some standout upgrades that were added are a Power-Dyne #9 Supercharger, Kenny Brown AGS 4 Suspension w/ Track Plus kit, Koni Sport Shocks, 3.55:1 gear ratio w/Positrack, PBR 13" Front rotors w/PBR Calipers, Flowmaster exhaust system, Hurst "Indy" short throw shifter, and many more.

This was not some off the shelf modification package, each individual example was personally tested by Kenny Brown himself before leaving their facility and it is rumored that he even kept one of the four examples for personal use. The four car's enjoyed extensive media attention and this vehicle has appeared in Magazines, Newspapers, and Books making this Pony quite famous. 5.0 Magazine raved about the end result that Kenny Brown was able to deliver with this project and praised the balance, increased braking performance, handling, smoothness, and overall performance delivered by this Mustang. It is obvious where the money in this build was allocated and that was purely into performance related modifications which Kenny referred to as "Not too many frills with lots of thrills".
