Look at the photos of this 1933 Chevy Street Rod - the attention to
detail is unbelievable. From the beautiful paint, to the stunning
interior, to the powerful drivetrain, this Chevy is an example of
how to design and build a top-shelf street rod. This coupe was
finished in 2016, but looks like it was built yesterday. The 2.5"
chopped fiberglass '33 body w/'34 fenders received a virtually
flawless coat of Ferrari Rosso Red with trademark Chevy strips. A
Dan Fink Metalworks 3-piece double-opening hinge kit operates the
steel Rootlieb hood w/side louvers. The menacing stance is accented
by Billet Specialties 'Vintique' alloys that mount Mickey Thompson
Sportsman radials front and rear (29/15R15). The stunning interior
features Nissan bucket seats upholstered in beige leather. Other
highlights include full console, power tinted windows, keyless
entry and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD sound system with MP3 and GPS
Navigation. (The Chevy is also fitted for A/C, but the owner states
that there is a small freon leak in the system so it is currently
inop.) A custom dash sports a full set of Autometer gauges and a
'spoke' wheel rests on a tilt column. The rear storage compartment
is finished as carefully as the interior and all electrics are
managed by a 23-circuit American Autowire package. Under the hood
is a GM LS1 346ci small-block that sounds perfect through stainless
headers and exhaust. It is fitted with LS-6 heads, Isky Performance
cam, Speartech engine management system, aluminum radiator and
custom fiberglass air intake/engine cover. Our LS1 dynoed at 451bhp
and is backed by a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual gearbox with
hydraulic clutch. Torque is transferred via an aluminum driveshaft
to a narrowed 9" Ford differential with Detroit/Eaton Truetrac
positraction and 3.70:1 gears. The spotless custom chassis is
equipped with a Mustang II front end, rack and pinion power
steering and front sway bar. The rear suspension is parallel 4-link
w/coil over shocks, panhard bar and sway bar. Brakes are power
assisted 4-wheel disc and the 17 gallon fuel tank is stainless
steel. Nerf bars and a hitch receiver have been added arrears. Look
at the photos again. Take the time to come to the Autobarn and see
this Chevy - you will not be disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
