Vehicle Description
I will start off by saying that I will definitely forget something
pertinent to the description of this car as there is so much to
list in regards to the build and the amount of money spent to get
it to this point. That being said, WOW this thing is really cool.
Using a really nice 1976 Euro Carrera 3.0 liter, which has become
collectable and famous by the legendary engineer Hans Mezger and
mating a 3.6 Liter engine out of a 964 model is a fantastic
marriage in my opinion. Another cool thing about the 76 model, is I
believe it is the only year that there was no hole cut in the dash
in addition to it being the last year for rear pop-out windows,
which I am a huge fan of. This car has been cared for and the
engine swap done by legendary Sol Snyderman from Perfect Power in
Buffalo Grove, IL for the last almost 25 years. The engine swap was
done around 2008 and a $30,000 repaint of the gorgeous Minerva Blue
Metallic was done in 2015. I have service receipts and history
dating back to around 1990 even before the conversion was done. The
interior has a couple modern features like power Porsche seats,
upgraded radio and a really cool authentic RUF steering wheel. What
is also cool is the multi color interior that is correct with black
and blue carpets with the black interior. The paint on this car
looks even better in person than in the pictures which is usually
not the case, The engine bay is tidy and detailed with no leaks,
under the hood looks as it should with space saver, compressor,
jack and emergency kit. I really like the off-set front and rear
wheel with the Euro stance. The car comes with multiple factory
keys, the original owners manual and German paperwork from new.
This is a absolute must see. If you have any questions whatsoever,
I encourage a phone call. There is no way this car could be built
to this caliber for the asking price.
