Vehicle Description
Production of the C/K series of truck that was marketed my
Chevrolet and GMC lasted over forty years from 1960-2002 over four
generations. They were hugely popular then and what appears to be
now with the influx of trucks being collectable and not just throw
away work vehicles. The first generation C/K trucks were built from
1960-1966 and range from ton to 1-ton models and be configured in
long or short beds and fleetside or step side designs with some
variations for specialty built trucks. C standing for 2-wheel drive
and K for 4-wheel drive models. This really neat 64 we are offering
today at GR AUTO GALLERY OF TC has had a amateur restoration that
took over three years to complete and features some nice upgraded
features like daytime running lights, a aluminum radiator,
specialty built power steering, power front disc brakes, upgraded
suspension with newer springs, killer new aluminum wheels with
tires and a new radio. The truck was a dry southern vehicle before
being torn apart and re-done including the wood bed. This C10
starts with the twist of the key, idles nicely, shifts, brakes and
gets all the looks at every stop light. The paint and body are
decent driver quality as you would imagine a paint job looking
coming out of a home garage, the interior is decent and minimal and
the engine bay is tidy and detailed as is the underside free of any
rust or rot. This thing is a lot of fun to drive.
