14,366 actual miles, 2 owner car. All original survivor. It is
loaded with options, it has so many that they it has a 2 page
window sticker. The original build sheet is still under the seat.
Other items included: extra keys, original dealer's emblem, pre
delivery inspection, glovebox pouch filled with manuals and
literature.
EXTERIOR: Very sharp combination of colors and graphics. It is
original from the tires to the paint. The body is in excellent
condition with no dents, damage or rust. The spoilers and bumpers
fit nice and have no damage. The original paint and decals are
excellent considering they are original. It has only minor
imperfections. The glass is excellent including the mirrored
t-tops. The original weatherstrips are still soft. It has 15x8
white turbo wheels with it's original Goodyear Polysteel tires.
INTERIOR: Inside the car is all original and it looks practically
brand new. It's full of options too. Deluxe Oyster interior. The
light gray carpet is excellent, it also has some newer Turbo floor
mats. The upholstery and door panels are mint. In front of me the
dash is like new. There's no cracks, no holes, no cigarette burns.
Actually the cigarette lighter and ashtray have not been used.
Pristine machine turned instrument panel has a full set of gauges
that are back lit red, unique to the pace car. I love the leather
wrapped formula wheel, it's like new. All the bits and pices-
plastic trim, glove box, heater controls are all excellent. The
interior lights and the clock works. Top of the line factory
stereo. It's a digital cassette stereo with an audio boost switch.
It also has cruise control, power windows, tilt and rear defog. The
headliner is sagging, very typical. I just stuck my hand under the
driver's seat, the build sheet is still there.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has the 4.9L V8 turbo charged motor. It is
just as it left the factory. All of the air cleaner duct work is
still attached, the smog equipment is still hooked up. Everything
looks very nice too. One of the cleaner survivor engines I've seen.
Features include air conditioning, power steering and brakes.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's all original and still like new. The
collapsible spare has never been used, it still has the air bottle
and complete jack assembly. It also has the factory t-top, carpet
mat and the dealer's box that the pace car decals came in. The
weather strip and stickers are excellent. Trunk light works.
UNDERSIDE: It is very original under this car. The performance
package includes special handling and 4 wheel disc brakes. Bottom
of the motor is original, never spray painted over. It has it's
original Turbo 350 automatic and 3.08 posi rear. Original catalytic
converter, dual mufflers and splitter tips. No signs of rot or
damage at all.
This is an excellent example of a special car. This era of cars are
really beginning to climb in desirability. They are original only
once!
