This 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 has been treated with the right kind
of respect over its two-owner life thus far. Plus, it has all the
right features, from fuel-injected V8 power to an A/C interior. So
it's nice to see a practical and loaded extended cab pickup
presented with good all-around respect.
Straight body panels, complete trim, bright chrome bumpers, and
upgraded side rails - this really shows it has gotten far more
respect over the years than the average pickup. And that's exactly
how we all want our modern classics to be. The Emerald Green
Metallic paint has a good radiance and dark sophistication. This is
the factory original paint, and we really appreciate how this one
has been kept. It shows the minimal imperfections that come from a
well-respected life. However, they did make some improvements with
newer trim and badges to make sure the full presentation remains
impressive. But a modern classic 4x4 is also a versatile machine,
and so this one doesn't shy away from work. The hard tonneau makes
for a secure way to carry large loads, and the full plastic liner
protects the bed. And the proper trailer hitch with electric plug
and trailer brake means this one knows how to tow the toys.
The tan pinstripe on the outside is a preview of the full tan
interior. And just like the outside, the inside is both premium and
preserved. The leather seating is quite comfy where even the
driver's seat shows less wear than you'd expect on a truck of this
mileage. This is an extended cab from the era when they started to
give you a half door on the passenger side. So it's much easier to
share the experience with up to four more family and friends. But
the driver is always the priority. That's why you have front bucket
seats, and yours power adjusts to your ideal long-haul comfort
position. It's also loaded with all the best features, like modern
cold blowing R-134A air conditioning, power windows, power locks,
power mirrors, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, a tilt steering
column, and a premium AM/FM/cassette stereo with a CD player. You
also have both an overhead console and an armrest center
console.
One of the big reasons you want a more modern classic pickup is
under the hood. After all, modern fuel-injected power on the
5.7-liter V8 is an advantage we all want. Plus, this newer
generation gives you an independent front suspension on the 4x4
drivetrain. That means you still get the go-anywhere prowess, but
when you're just riding in the city, this is much more comfortable
than other classic 4x4s. In fact, speaking of comfort, the
two-speed transfer case is as easy as the push buttons on the dash.
Add in power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and the
four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, and this Sierra is a
fantastic anytime cruising pickup.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker and the
owner's manual packet. We all are looking for the one vehicle that
can turn heads and still get to work. But only one person can grab
this deal. So don't miss out, call today!
