Vehicle Description
This 1988 Chevrolet C1500 has some of the best old-school muscle
car/truck details, right down to the shining and powerful small
block under the hood. It makes for a cool custom that also never
loses that true pickup truck appeal.
Glossy black paint, silver racing stripes, a cowl hood, and a
bright chrome front end... this is the kind of description you'd
want for a '69 Chevelle, but this is for a c/k pickup! A
professional detail can make this one pop even more, but we already
like how this one is presented. It's a glossy truck that can still
help with the weekend chores thanks to details like the spray-in
bedliner. Of course, the real purpose of this is to be a true
cruiser. The shaved handles, smooth tailgate, flush rear roll pan,
and 22-inch wheels are all part of a very cool street machine
package.
The remote door openers on the key fob are fun to show off, but
what you'll really appreciate is how everything on the other side
of the door is all about a practical pickup. After all, a quality
cruiser feels much better with a stock-style interior. This has the
right features to be the more premium Silverado trim. It includes
power windows, power locks, a tilt steering column, and a contoured
bench seat with a driver's armrest. It was also born an A/C truck
but most, if not all of the items were removed therefore it will
need components and servicing to function again. While the
appearance is quite stock, it also has the right upgrades in place.
This includes an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input and upgraded
auxiliary gauges to keep a full eye on what's going on under the
hood.
The engine bay goes for true old-school cool. All those polished
components are added to a hardy Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8. And this
one is built for old-school muscle, too, with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, Top Street Performance intake, and headers feeding into
an X-pipe dual exhaust. It's all supported by the right modern
pieces, like an MSD ignition, electric fans, and a large aluminum
radiator. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is ideal for
being stout enough to handle the power while also delivering
overdrive comfort. You also have power steering, power brakes,
front discs, and modern ZR-rated sport tires for an all-around
solid driving experience.
Old-school muscle meets more modern comforts in a truly useful
pickup. That makes for quite an attractive total package -
especially at this price. Call now!
