Trans Am WS6 6-speed 33,265 miles 100% OEM down to the paper air filter. Clear title is in hand. No issues, no stories, just a time capsule back to Y2K. It shows as having been very well-taken care throughout its life. It is in excellent condition and everything works, including the pop-up headlamps, power windows, power antenna and air conditioning. While these cars are going up in value, this is a very nice example that you can still enjoy driving occasionally with a clear conscience.
The chronic sail panel paint bubbling issue that these later year 4th gen f-bodies have has been professional repaired by sourcing a pre-99 sail panel, removing all polyurethane adhesive and repainting the factory black. I had the rear hatch/spoiler panel repainted at the same time as a couple of hairline cracks had formed in the paint where the spoiler meets the body. I will include the receipt with all other documentation in the sale.
I have owned the car for 3.5 years, and in addition to fixing the sail panel bubbling I had the other chronic 4th gen Firebird issue of cracked door panels addressed. The dash is in excellent condition, no cracking or fading whatsoever.
Since I’ve owned the car I’ve added about 2,000 miles, driving it about every 2-3 weeks average and I changed the oil twice with Mobile 1 10w-30. I replaced the battery about 3 years ago. I replaced the clutch soon after purchasing with a Monster Level 2 and have the receipt.
Tires are barely worn but have a 2006 date code. I haven't replaced because I only cruise the car in nice weather on dry pavement.
I have applied Leatherique leather cleaner a couple of times over the 3.5 years. The seats are in near-mint condition (see video). Car has been clay barred, buffed, polished and waxed. Paint is deep and glossy, see close-up pics. There are only a couple of minor rock chips on the front end and one minor ding on the passenger door (see pic circled).
The Trans Am comes complete with window sticker, owners manual, service records, locking wheel lug and both keys.
