Vehicle Description
Refined and sophisticated, this rotisserie restored 1971 Chevrolet
Nova Coupe is now available in the MAXmotive Pittsburgh Showroom. A
close inspection reveals exceptional workmanship throughout. The
doors, decklid, and hood all operate with extra smoothness and
precision. A rich shade of brown metallic paint was applied in
2011, and it looks and feels as smooth as when it was sprayed. The
355ci small block V8 has been driven only 300 miles since it was
rebuilt and upgraded in 2015. Upgrades include Edelbrock aluminum
heads and an Edelbrock carburetor on an Edelbrock aluminum intake.
Tube headers and dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers emit the
golden tones. A Hurst-shifted Borg/Warner 4-speed transmits the
power to a just right 3.73-geared 12-bolt posi. Plus, the third
member is a mere 600 miles from new. Inside, a tastefully plush tan
and brown cloth interior is a feast for the eyes while providing
copious comfort. Even the door panels are finished in cloth for an
integrated, designed appearance. And a thick wood rim steering
wheel is an excellent finishing touch. Power steering and power
front disc brakes add to the premium driving feel. Underneath,
frame connectors assure that those body panels stay nice and
straight even with the potent power team. Traction bars help to
plant the big rear tires while adding a not-accidental vintage hot
rod vibe. This theme is emphasized with the utilization of iconic
Cragar S/S wheels on big and little Mastercraft tires for the
desired stance. Inside and out; street, strip, or show, this 1971
Chevrolet Nova runs ahead of the pack. See detailed photos at
