Vehicle Description
This one-owner First Edition 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 has
everything -- all professionally done -- and it's available for you
now in MAXmotive's Pittsburgh Showroom. The original Brilliant
Black Crystal Pearl exterior paint absolutely gleams, and the
interior is so immaculate, it's kind of an unexpected surprise when
you open the hood. Arrington Performance built a 426 cubic inch,
supercharged monster from the original 6.1L Hemi, which now dynos
at more than 700 horsepower. The system is stout and dependable
utilizing a Whipple supercharger, a 90mm throttle body, and
methanol injection. Full length tube headers empty into a complete
dual exhaust system that allows the Hemi to breathe and produce
just the right sound. All the build receipts are included. The
W5A580 transmission has been beefed for the task along with a 2800
stall converter. An 8.8 inch Ford rear with Traction-Lok and 3.73
gears puts the power down through 1400hp axle shafts and a DSS
driveshaft. And a neatly installed roll bar and safety harnesses
mean you can actually take it to the track. This is car number 4383
of the original 6400 2008 Challengers built (all SRT8s). This
stellar example has all the available options including the power
sunroof and the touchscreen radio with navigation, as shown on the
original window sticker. Some extra switches are for the Line Loc
and an electric cooling fan. The builders thought of everything.
The other factory option is staggered performance tires. This car
has chrome Huntington alloys with 305 Mickey Thompson Street ET
tires on the back, but the original SRT wheels come with it. This
fully sorted out, tuned, well-loved, and absolutely beautiful 2008
Dodge Challenger SRT8 could be the ultimate street/strip Challenger
at a fraction of the cost of building one or buying new. See
