Here's a black on black 1964 Corvette Coupe with its original small
block engine and 4-speed available now at the MAXmotive Pittsburgh
Showroom. The original, numbers-matching 300 horsepower 327 is in
factory stock trim including the exhaust manifolds. On top is a
fresh four barrel carburetor and a dual snorkel air cleaner. The
motor is dressed in the proper Chevy orange paint with the ID
stickers on the valve covers. Extra GM approved stickers are
included for you to take the car further or add detail. Behind the
motor is a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, for a desirable and
highly collectible package. Furthermore, black exterior paint and a
black interior give the car a formidable, no-nonsense look. The
interior, like the engine, is stock-appearing with black vinyl
bucket seats, center console, and the very handsome simulated
walnut-rim 3-spoke steering wheel. The center console features the
factory Delco AM/FM radio. Correct spinner wheel covers continue
the straightforward theme along with a set of whitewall Dunlop
radials. It's well known that the 1963 Corvette caused a sensation.
1964 offered Chevrolet a year to refine the design, and there were
many changes, some subtle, some significant -- such as revised body
