Vehicle Description
This spectacular, low mileage 1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT is now
available from the Maxmotive Pittsburgh Showroom. It's swathed in
Super Fly Yellow, a color closely associated with the marque among
devotees and enthusiasts. It emphasizes the Diablo's angular,
aerodynamic Marcello Gandini design. The car shows a well-cared-for
18,354 miles. 492 horsepower and 428 lbs.ft. are on tap from a 60
degree longitudinally mounted V12 with a light-alloy block, dual
overhead cams, and a total of 48 valves. It generates peak power at
7000 rpm. A carbon fiber case surrounds the engine and a handsome
manifold cover with the Diablo logo and cam covers also adorn the
engine compartment. The power is transmitted through a five-speed
all-synchromesh ZF manual to all four wheels. A viscous coupling
(Viscous Traction) center differential connects the front and rear
limited slip differentials. Choose from four electronically
selectable modes or let the suspension adjust automatically to
driving conditions. Ventilated Brembo brakes with 4-piston calipers
reside at each corner along with perforated rotors. Power assisted
mechanical rack & pinion steering helps the driver utilize the
tremendous drivetrain, suspension, and braking technology to the
max. The Diablo is a showcase for technologies in which Lamborghi
would go on to assume a worldwide leadership role. The car makes
extensive use of carbon fiber, leading to the establishment of the
Advanced Composite Research Center where Lamborghini engineers work
closely with Boeing in Seattle in advancing the manufacture and use
of the material. Other features for which the "Raging Bull" became
famous include high revving V12 engines and all wheel drive.
Compared to the non-VT Diablo there's a redesigned dash with a full
complement of refined VDO gauges. Torpedo Nero leather seats with
yellow piping and carpeted Diablo floor mats bring added panache
and luxury to the interior. An Alpine sound system and an elegant
analog clock are found in the functional center stack. Air
conditioning and power windows offer exceptional comfort and
convenience. The Diablo VT has the technology to compete with the
world's great exotics, yet the design still stands out as one of
its most compelling elements. The functional and visual impact of
the Gandini-designed body, the vertical-opening scissor doors, and
the striking color create a captivating and lasting impression. The
rear wing is optional, but it's really a must-have item in the
winsome spirit of this iconic supercar. The final touch is super
premium rolling stock. Three-piece OZ Racing light-alloys are the
wheels of choice measuring 8 and a half by 17 inches in front and
an enormous 13 x 17 inches in the rear. Tires are 235/40ZR17 and
335/35ZR17 Michelin Pilot Sport ultra-performance radials. Leading
edge technology, design, luxury, and performance merge in harmony
in this stunning 1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT to stir the emotions,
built by people who believe that real emotions shape the future.*
