For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This is a beast! It can shake the ground and scare the crap out of your passenger. It's also a cruiser. The owner drove it over an hour to sell it to me. That made me feel very confident. I don't need to tell you how stunning it is, you already know that. The previous owner just spent $17,000 at a hot rod shop improving the car, receipts included.

EXTERIOR: The color is drop dead gorgeous. When you see this thing out in the sun, it's unbelievable. It literally attracts people to it when parked and they all will say how good looking it is. The body is laser beam straight. I don't see any dimples, bubbles or issues. The metal flake is laid out smooth and evenly. The clear coat is polished like glass. It has a 4 inch metal cowl hood and spoiler. Up front the grill, bumper, emblem was all replaced. Upgraded HID headlights. It has custom 565 emblems on the front fenders. All the stainless trim is polished like chrome. Mirrors and door handles are new. In back it has new tail lights with LED bulbs, SS gas cap and new bumper. All the glass is tinted and in nice shape. The wheels are the icing on the cake. Highly polished 18x7s in front, 18x12s in back. New Mickey Thompson tires, street/ strips in back. Door jams are painted slick, new weatherstrips.

INTERIOR: Glove soft leather throughout. The upholstery, door panels, dash pad and even the pillars are wrapped in leather. Custom headliner and visors. Down on the floor is new carpet and embroidered Camaro mats. Center console has a Hurst billet ratchet shifter. A set of Autometer gauges is below the dash and Monster tachometer is on the column with a shift light. Custom billet pedals. New set of seat belts, racing harness for the driver. New deluxe steering wheel. The stereo is hooked to Infinity 6" round door speakers and 6x9s in back.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT It's 565 big block making 750 horsepower plus a 225 shot of nitrous is on standby. Built with the best parts starting with a Dart block and Dart aluminum heads. On top is a polished high rise aluminum intake with a big dual feed Holley carb. It has an MSD ignition system that's all new and stainless headers. In front of the motor is a polished aluminum water pump, pulleys and brackets. Premium Aeromotive braided fuel lines and fittings. Giant polished aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and a polished overflow bottle keeps it cool. It has a remote remote vacuum can and pump to help create vacuum lost by the performance cam. Chrome plated valve covers. It features power brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder. Nice polished billet hinges. New horns.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: There's a nice surprise in the trunk. It has 2 nitrous bottles, a polished fuel cell with braided fuel line and an Optima gel cell battery. Bottom of the trunk lid is upholstered and has an embossed Chevy bow tie, carpeted floor.

UNDERSIDE: It was body off frame restored. The chassis is painted the color of the car. Up front it has upgraded sway bar and coil over shocks. The ball joints, bushings, steering components were all replaced. A set of substantial welded in frame connectors prevent body twist. In back it has a 4 link suspension, panhard bar and coil over gas shacks. Rear frame rails have been moved inward to accommodate wider tires. New Wilwood disc brakes with slotted rotors and stainless braided hoses. Very unique oval custom made stainless steel exhaust. It is oval to hug closer to the floors. It has X-pipe and polished Magnaflow mufflers. The bottom of the motor has an anodized Melodin oil pan and a high torque starter. The Turbo 400 automatic has an aluminum pan. There is a safety loop around the drive shaft. In back is a Ford 9 inch rear end with backbone support. Premium inline fuel pump, filter, fittings and braided hoses.

If your shy don't buy this one. When I was trying to buy it in our parking lot, people just kept coming over to look. If they don't see it, they will hear it. Either way it's gets everyone's attention.
