Vehicle Description
1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe
The 1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe is THE hot rod. There are others, but
most hot rods today can trace their histories back to the '32 Ford
3-window coupe, and they're as popular today as they ever were.
This striking Ford has the right stance, the right profile, and the
right hardware to make it look traditional, but all the creature
comforts to which we've become accustomed, so it's also easy to
enjoy.
The body is fiberglass, and after looking at this slick coupe
you'll realize that fiberglass is the way to go. One, it doesn't
rust or get dented, so no worries in the future if you drive it.
Two, it finishes beautifully, and the results show everywhere you
look on this car. And three, it's brand new, so you don't have to
deal with a creaky old Ford body and instead enjoy a rod that's
tight and quiet on the inside. And we guarantee that it'll stand
out at the next cruise night.
Exterior
Awesome black and this fiberglass is looking hot...uh, I mean
cool,...uh I mean hot! A mounted fender and running board car, all
in menacing tuxedo black front the solid fiberglass running boards
to make entry easy, then go to black fenders in the rear. Black is
a cool choice simply because it will always look great. Plus, it
shows off the beautiful engraved flame valve cover engine under the
cowl. They skipped the side cowlings but up front this '32's
beautiful mill stands out amidst all the black. Hot! 15-inch Weld
Prostar wheels wrapped in small rubber in front and big rubber,
(295/70R15's), in the rear, give this rod an awesome stance, just
like old times but with bling. The engine can be heard by standing
at the side and listening to the ear candy produced by the 3.0"
rear exit stainless steel pipes, sounding just like a church organ!
Well...
Interior
Bird is the word...actually it's warm dark gray when flipping open
the doors one can just feel the warmth on your cockles, with your
eyes when they gaze upon the warm gray. Doors have been shaved of
any actuator handles but we can see power window toggles. Inside
floating atop of a sea of gray carpeting which is wonderfully clean
are 2 low back stitched tweed buckets with nice sturdy bolsters.
These are fronted by a full metal, well fiberglass, jacket black
painted dash with a lineup of blackface and white numbered
Autogauge Instruments. A long, long aluminum Lokar shift lever
reaches for the driver. On top of a chromed tilt column with
booklet levers is a LeCarra rally leather wrapped steering wheel.
Vintage Air is in and an Am/FM/8 Track radio is installed.
Drivetrain
A 350ci V8 is topped with a Barry Grant 4-barrel carburetor which
throws power back to a 3-speed TH350 automatic. With this setup you
are ready to heat up those bigs in the rear and blow through some
fossils while making some noise. Beautifully engraved chromed
flamed valve coverings and additional chrome bolt ons and all I can
say is Wow!!
Undercarriage
Let's just say rust free black steel on black fiberglass. All
pristine, and custom just like the interior. Clean as a black
whistle. Mustang II front suspension with coil overs, and ladder
bars with coil overs for the rear. GM front disc and power Wilwood
rear disc brakes, and just like new dual exhaust, exiting out the
back of the car in 3-inch chromed style. Kewl.
Drive-Ability
She fired right up and off to the test track where it definitely
made some noise. Limitless power from the 350 cubes, a great sound
and good solid handling. All functions were working great save for
the driver's side door which was difficult to get to latch.
This virtually maintenance free body, V8 powered, awesome
tastefully painted "Deuce Coupe", with a totally custom interior
that will bring a warm glow to your heart, and a hot rod to the
drive in, as well as a smile to your face, is priced right. Why
waste time wrenching when you could be driving and smiling! Oh
Yeah!!
