GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this iconic 1965 Chevy
Corvette for your consideration. This highly desirable classic
comes in a brilliant Nassau Blue paint job complemented by a clean
blue interior. Powering this C2 is a rebuilt 327 cubic inch (365hp)
V8 engine mated to a smooth-shifting manual transmission. A full
restoration was completed on this vehicle in February of 2002 and
it still shows in excellent condition today. Post restoration, this
Corvette has only 1200 miles on her since the restoration. This
example comes to us from a private automotive collection and as
such has always been properly stored and maintained. So, if you're
in the market for an exceptional classic sure to get recognized
anywhere you go, this Corvette is for you. Drive this one out of
our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in
the United States! Don't hesitate to give us a call with any
questions or for more information.
The Corvette launched its 2nd generation with the birth of the
Stingray with a complete redesign barely resembling its
predecessors. The Stingray was lighter, had independent suspension,
and was aerodynamically tested. The only American cars that could
produce similar speed were large, heavy Super Stock optioned Mopars
and Super Duty Pontiacs. For the first time, the United States had
mass-produced a true all-around sports car.
