Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne is a low mileage custom build with
a two-tone color package, custom bucket seat interior, four-wheel
disc brakes, and a monster big block under the hood. So check out
the pics and info on this truck, because someone already did all
the hard work so you can get straight to the fun.
The Cheyenne is a premium C10, and you can tell there has been an
investment to make this one above the rest. The black and silver
two-tone is a modern application that reminds us this is a fresh
build with under 1,400 miles on the full build. There's even a hint
of pearl in the silver to ensure this has the kind of luster that
draws attention the moment the sunshine hits it. They also took
time with the fundamentals. That means an overall look of quality
with the straightness of the panels, mirror-like chrome bumpers,
completeness of the trim, and doors that close with confidence. But
you're not interested in this one just because it's a solid vintage
package. This Chevy is out to make sure you can see its sporty
style from every angle. The front has an aggressive cowl hood and
wide billet grille. The rear looks extra sleek with the flush rear
pan and aerodynamic hard tonneau. And there's an imposing
forward-leaning profile aided by those extra meaty rear tires.
The black interior is a build that has been given all the right
investments. The door panels, carpeting, and dash pad, all have
that deep black look of quality. And there's a cool mix of
performance and comfort with the seats. These are high-back Procar
buckets with plenty of bolstering. These are done in leather and
the center jump seat folds down into a center armrest when not
needed. This has other comfort upgrades like a retro-style
AM/FM/cassette stereo, tinted windows, and provisions for air
conditioning (the compressor is installed but currently not hooked
up.) But the best upgrades are reserved for you. That means the
grippy Chevy sports steering wheel, a tilt column, B&M floor
shifter, and a full AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauge package with large
speedo and tach.
The engine bay is filled with big block power. It's done with a
thoughtful style with smooth inner fenders, matching black
components on the block, and just the right amount of polish from
the valve covers and other accessories. And beyond its style is
some serious substance. This is a World Products Merlin V8 motor
that's built with terrific performance components like a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock NASCAR edition intake, and a
wicked set of long tube headers. The motor has nice supporting
components like braided fuel lines, polished pulleys, and a large
aluminum radiator. It's a big power package that loves to announce
its muscle through the Flowmaster dual exhaust. And the way it
fires up and runs strong reaffirms the investment in quality when
building this pickup. The mighty V8 is mated to a stout TH400
three-speed automatic transmission. This feeds a 12-bolt
Positraction rear end with 3.73 gears for solid taker-offs. And
don't forget about those wide Hoosier rear tires. Plus, power
steering, the C10's desirable trailing arm rear suspension, and
upgraded four-wheel disc brakes make this powerful pickup a
confident driver.
This is the kind of custom that impresses with its looks, comfort,
quality, and of course, serious power. Call now!
