In the 1962 model year, Oldsmobiles Starfire two-door hardtop.
Horsepower was increased to 345 hp and styling changes for the
model year. Sales of the coupe were 21,489. The unique body length
stainless and aluminum trim was still the eye catching feature of
the exterior styling. Along with the over the top exterior trim the
Olds 394 V8 propelled this sporting model Olds down the road with
the Jet-Away transmission and it was accompanied with power
steering and brakes to make it the upscale model it was intended to
