Vehicle Description
This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Pro Touring is a fully built
restomod with the art of horsepower in mind. It's a unique machine
that includes a ton of custom work wrapped in slick paint, a custom
A/C interior, and modern fuel-injected Hemi power. In fact, it's
such a merging of a classic Plymouth and a modern SRT machine that
this even has a modern fully-independent suspension. So dig into
the details, because this coupe is the product of when someone
decides that only the best will do.
You know this Road Runner looks ready for primetime the moment you
see the custom paint. The Laguna Blue is a modern application
borrowed from a modern Corvette... but that's not the most stunning
part. There was $35k spent on the paint and body alone. That kind
of investment goes into a full build that takes from 2013 to 2020
to complete. So everything looks fresh and there's barely a sign of
this ever hitting the road since completion. When the sunlight hits
the slick paint and straight panels it radiates a huge shine and
depth that will probably win you awards all on its own. And you'll
love how they took their time to thoughtfully merge vintage and new
on the full exterior. The big classic chrome bumpers shine like
mirrors. And it goes for plenty of old-school intimidation with the
big polished exhaust tips and A12-style blackout hood w/scoop. But
the blackout grille, crystal clear headlights, and SRT badging also
make this look like a modern Challenger. And while the polished
wheels have a classic torque thrust style, there are modern 18-inch
units to make sure you can fit the best modern tires.
You'll see from the undercarriage photos just how complicated this
build was to adapt the pan of modern Mopar into this classic Road
Runner, but one of the places you'll appreciate it the most is the
interior. It means that the console, seats, and many other details
from the donor Dodge would truly fit like they always belonged. So
you have quite a stylish, modern, and loaded setup. It has all the
best features, like cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows,
power locks, cruise control, an armrest center console, heated
seats, power steering, and a five-speed automatic transmission. The
stereo is an even more modern AM/FM/XM touchscreen with a backup
camera. It has a ton of custom features added like remote trunk,
door locks, LED tail light blinkers, and even turn light blinkers
that double as blind spot cameras! Your special SRT leather bucket
seat power adjusts to your ideal driving position. And the
leather-wrapped sports steering wheel is on a tilt column to give
you a clear view of the white-faced SRT gauges. And not only do you
get all the modern amenities, but the addition was even thoughtful
with the details. After all, the Road Runner badging on the dash
and the logo in the steering wheel just might make people think the
Plymouth brand survived into the modern era to donate its
interior.
The engine bay is finished just as nicely as the rest of the car,
so you'll proudly show off this pristine space. Everyone wants a
Mopar with a Hemi, but this one is a cut-above. It's a modern
6.1-liter fuel-injected Hemi V8. It's all part of this fresh build
that merged this classic Plymouth with a low-mileage 2006 Charger
SRT8. Not only does this 400+ horsepower juggernaut look like it
has belonged here since day one, but so does the full modern
charger suspension. You have an impressive fully independent setup
that includes more performance pieces like Michelin Pilot Sport
tires and Brembo four-wheel power brakes featuring Brembo slotted
discs. So you know this one is going to handle like a supercar
compared to any other 1970s muscle car you know.
The sale comes with the original window sticker, bill of sale,
warranty card, and owner's manual. So you have a good record of

it is today. This is the best of everything, and now is your rare
