Vehicle Description
During a 46 year run Buicks Skylark was built over six production
runs. The first generation of the model was 1964 and it was a
pretty big success cementing the Skylark name as its own separate
line vs. being just a trim level. A number of different engine
options and trim levels were offered in either a 2-door, 4-door or
2-door convertible. The Skylark coupe, which is the most desirable
because of its lower and more road-hugging profile would now later
become the most collectable. This really fantastic unmolested
example that we are offering is a very nice example that shows some
re-spray in spots but also appears to have a lot of original paint
on the car. The trim is all in very good condition and chrome is
good with the exception of some surface rust on the very bottoms as
are some small areas on the bottom of the doors, but by no means is
it bad, especially for a largely original car. The interior is
clean and really nice. Floors, frame and structural components are
rock solid and man, does this car start, runs and drive great. Has
a wonderful sound, good brakes and tires and is ready to be
enjoyed. This would be a great right off the bat. In my opinion
this is so much cooler than a fresh 100 point car that you are
afraid to drive. This would be a fun family cruiser or build this
one-year only engine design and have something really cool.
